Abstract

In your story ‘Colleges to test “simulated” care in labs for student skills assessment’ (news March 22) you reported that ‘15 per cent of 2,300 student placements could be completed in simulation labs’. In fact, the Council of Deans is proposing that up to 15 per cent of the mandatory 2,300 practice hours every student nurse has to undertake could be completed using simulated practice.
