Abstract

The rise in methane emissions threatens the Paris Agreement’s aspirations to limit the increase in global average temperature. Now, in a One Earth review, Olczak et al. point to significant gaps in policies to reduce methane emissions. Much more needs to be done for effective methane mitigation.
