Abstract

Smart watch technology is changing the way that patient scan send their health information in real-time. This allows for more accurate monitoring and helps to improve the patient’s over all health. This paper proposes a wireless smartwatch. The possibility of new gesture-based inter activity with connected lighting solutions is being explored. The home appliances can be controlled with hand gestures and the care taker will be informed about the old or disabled people with a buzzer. The system uses motion sensor data and machine learning algorithms to identify the user gestures performed in the air. This method requires less computation and is not affected by light A prototype system was built to test this approach, and the results show nearly 88.5% accuracy in gesture recognition.
