Abstract
The article discusses the importance of Strategic Management of Information Technology (IT) in the context of pharmaceutical industries, especially after the establishment of ANVISA in 1997. With increasing sanitary requirements and the need for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), companies face the challenge of managing a vast amount of information. The Chemical-Pharmaceutical Laboratory of Aeronautics (LAQFA) is presented as an example of how adopting structured processes can lead to significant improvements in organizational performance. The study emphasizes the need for a new organizational structure that facilitates the flow of information and decision-making. Additionally, it highlights the importance of team training and creating an environment that promotes information democratization. Knowledge management is seen as an essential tool for continuous improvement and operational efficiency, enabling companies to adapt to changes and innovations in the sector.
