Abstract

This research had as main objective to verify what are the positive and negative effects concerning the services provided to the higher education course departments by the administrative sectors at IFES - Vitoria Campus in 2014. In the whole presentation of this thesis, 100% of the questionnaires applied were answered by the professionals mentioned above and by those directly involved in the actions taken by the current school management at IFES - Vitoria Campus. They responded to closed and open questions and could provide feedback and suggest improvements to procedures and routines used by the sectors to which they belong and also to the current campus management. After the questionnaires application, it was identified that they have similar views about the current school management at IFES - Campus Vitoria and about the positive and negative effects related to the services provided to the higher education course departments at IFES - Vitoria Campus. Through a wider and more general analysis, it was found that the three groups of subjects questioned reported problems such as lack of communication, lack of information and lack of interaction between sectors and people, lack of standardized procedures and regulations and excessive bureaucracy currently applied in the institution.
