Abstract
The territorial effects of global crises are differentiated and therefore require management with a global - local perspective. In this perspective, this article approaches from the local global dialectic a prospective look at the economic effects that may arise on a local territorial scale derived from the COVID-19 crisis in the Biobío Region and its communes. In this perspective, the article assumes the premise that it is from decentralized action at the regional - local - territorial level where it is possible to act with greater efficiency and a sense of focus to face the socioeconomic effects derived from the COVID - 19 crisis and by this is done through the application of specialization and location coefficients. It aims at the differentiated identification of the productive sectors especially hit by the socioeconomic crisis, with a view to prospecting a sense of focus for the policies and strategies that are designed to face the main effects. of the crisis.
