Abstract

This contribution presents case law from the German Federal Constitutional Court (FCC – BVerfG) in the period of 2012–2015 which has been selected for its importance for an international audience. It covers the referral of the case on the Decision of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank of 6 September 2012 on Technical Features of Outright Monetary Transactions (section 1), as well as decisions on the wearing of a Muslim head scarf by female teachers (section 2) and on parliamentary rights of the Federal Parliament (Bundestag) regarding the deployment of the German armed forces abroad (section 3).
