Abstract

The article deals with issues of ensuring seismic resistance of historical buildings, especially architectural monuments, reducing seismic and other man-made impacts. Analyzing the existing methods of ensuring seismic resistance, the most effective geotechnical systems of seismic isolation and their installation technology from the point of view of ensuring seismic resistance have been determined through experimental and computational studies. The proposed geotechnical approach allows to ensure the stability and integrity of the monument architecture under seismic and dynamic influences.
