Abstract
The SU(4) symmetric version of N=4, d=4 Poincare supergravity is constructed geometrically. The underlying gauge algebra is a synthesis of a modified orthosymplectic algebra and the SU(1, 1)/U(1) sigma -model structure of the scalar fields. The author uses the group manifold approach to gauge this algebra.
