Abstract
AbstractAs a result of extraction and processing of mineral raw materials, industrial waste containing toxic substances that negatively affect the environment and valuable components in hard-to-enrich ores have accumulated in the Orenburg region. Accumulations of technogenic raw materials in dumps or tailings dumps of deposits of the Orenburg region represent a belt of so-called technogenic deposits of mineral raw materials. The results of the research conducted over the past decades indicate that the prospects for further development of the mineral resource base of non-ferrous and precious metals are largely related to the identification and industrial assessment of mineralization in man-made deposits. In this regard, it is necessary to analyze the current situation, to investigate the impact of exploration, mining and processing processes on the state of natural geological components and on the environment in general, using the concept of lithotechnical systems for this purpose. To develop a methodology for studying dumps and tailings dumps, determining their mineral and chemical composition; the content of valuable elements, substantiating the use of technology for processing hard-to-enrich ores. The developed recommendations are designed to ensure the solution of the national economic tasks set by the Government of the Russian Federation for the introduction of modern technologies for the processing of industrial waste into production. The practical significance of the research lies in the substantiation of the scientific approach and technological schemes for the study and development of the dumps of copper-crusted deposits in the eastern part of the Orenburg region. This will make it possible to outline new ways of developing the mineral resource base, first of all, the mining industry of the Orenburg region. The technology of possible development of geo-resources using the microwave method of extraction of precious metals from ores is substantiated.KeywordsTechnogenic depositsDumpsTailings dumpsHard-to-enrich oresMicrowave technologies.
