Abstract

This study deals with the environmental effects of the problem of urban sprawl, which faces agriculture in Dulwa district, one of the districts of Salah al-Din Governorate. This problem affected land and agricultural production in the judiciary through the decrease in the size of cultivated areas, which was accompanied by the decrease in production quantities as well as the change in crop composition. There are many The reason for the increase in the risks of urban sprawl is due to the influence of geographical factors, whether they are natural surface, climate, soil and water resources, or human factors whose impact was very large, represented in the increase in the population and their needs for services and infrastructure, as well as government policy, the economic level and social factors.
