Abstract

This study aimed to identification of genotypic characterization of lifA and fimH genes in 30 Enteropathogenic E.coli (EPEC) isolated from children suffering from diarrhea using Polymer Chain Reaction (PCR) technique. The results of agarose gel electrophoresis of lifA and fimH amplicons showed that 19(63%) and 25(83%) isolates were possess these gene respectively.Conclusions: There were high incidence of fimH and lifA genes in EPEC isolated from children suffering from diarrhea.
