Abstract

Through Dyhia Belhabib's life story the broken academia system finds itself far from reality. Throughout her life, she has seen and experienced the struggles of a minority to succeed in the world of academia even when working harder for the pursuit of knowledge. This edition of Poplar and Ivy works to shed light on these unconventional career paths in nontraditional research that shed light on global and local understudied issues.
