Abstract

Mung bean is an important pulse crop of India and extensively grown from humid to Arid and semi arid regions. In F <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">1</sub> generation all plants of 12 susceptible x resistant crosses and 5 susceptible x susceptible crosses were found susceptible. In F <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sub> segregating generation 63:1 ratio was observed in susceptible x resistant crosses where as all plants were found susceptible in susceptible x susceptible crosses. In back cross 7:1 ratio was observed in both the crosses. The main goal of the paper to search the Genetics of Yellow Mosaic Virus Resistance in Mung bean.
