Abstract

The photoconductive antenna is a commonly used method of generating and detecting THz waves. The paper analyzes the physical mechanism and physical processes on generation and detection of THz wave from photoconductive antenna, and discusses deeply the structure and working process of the photoconductive antenna system for the generation and detection of THz waves.
