Abstract
During flight, aircrafts often rely on satellites to provide navigation and positioning information, which fail in many scenarios. As an alternative, meanwhile, airborne inertial navigation system (INS) usually works with a large error. Another effective platform positioning method is to accurately locate targets in the real-time high-quality ground image provided by airborne SAR and then reverse-compute the position of the carrier, that is, the scene matching navigation methods. Since the targets in the SAR image has been located accurately during our previous studies, we focus on the reverse-computation process then. In this paper, a method based on generalized pseud-range positioning is proposed, and the generalized pseud-range equation is improved under the 6-D INS error model to improve the positioning accuracy.
