Abstract
The present paper discusses Weiss’ version of the Fuglede–Putnam theorem. We establish three generalizations of this version, each of which involves unbounded normal operators. The first generalization expands upon Weiss’ theorem by incorporating a single unbounded normal operator, while the second involves normal powers. The third generalization deals with two unbounded normal operators. These generalizations have several applications and are accompanied by counterexamples.
