Abstract

The author considers general issues of observance and protection of rights in criminal procedure. Particular attention is paid to the participation of the prosecutor in the trial with jurors. It is indicated that in this case, the prosecutor acts as a guarantor of the rule of law and observance of the rights of citizens in court. The problem of such participation is identified and its solution is proposed.
