Abstract

We present a model to estimate the uncertainty of results in reproducing units of water content in solid and liquid substances and materials. An algorithm is described for implementing this approach. By using direct thermogravimetric and chemical methods, sources of uncertainty are clarified. We present composition, scope of application, and metrological characteristics of the State Primary Sstandard of mass fraction and mass (molar) concentration of water in solid and liquid substances and materials GET 173-2013.
