Abstract

The paper analyzes in detail the modern gender aspects of management practice in current trends. The main problems and causes of gender imbalance have been identified. Differences in qualities, management styles, professional self-determination of successful women and men are systematized. A comparative analysis of gender differences in the qualities of men and women has been carried out. The gender gap index of 2020 is compared with previous years. There are many pressing issues related to gender discrimination. The UN Development Report and Program are analyzed to understand all gender aspects. Challenges faced by female executives have been identified because of widespread gender norms and stereotypes in most societies, mostly related to limited access to training and resources. A study of gender in management activities conducted in recent years has shown that there are differences and coincidences between male and female management styles. A survey has been created for students to show how much they understand the need for gender research. In today's globalizing conditions of rapid development of management practice, the issue of gender interaction is actualized. The gender factor highlights the trends in society that are being transformed at the enterprise level, reflecting the quantitative and qualitative parameters of gender engagement and is an important indicator to take into account when formulating a personnel management strategy. However, in real life, domestic enterprises tend to neglect the gender factor, and the gender-oriented component is usually absent from the HRM strategy. Today, gender inequality is defined as a socio-biological characteristic that defines the concept of "man" and "woman" through their psychosocial and sociocultural roles as individuals. Unlike the gender characteristic, which determines the purely biological differences between a man and a woman, it is filled with unique dynamic, cognitive and behavioral content of the feminine and the masculine acquired through individual gender experience. Key words: gender aspects, gender policy, gender equality, managerial qualities, gender interaction, management, gender norms, stereotypes, managerial activity, gender differences, gender issues.
