Abstract

The article presents the results of the study on the features of interpersonal interaction of schoolchildren with different gender and age characteristics. The following indicators of interpersonal interaction were selected: the need for communication, the need for approval, motivation for affiliation, interpersonal anxiety and the level of subjective feeling of loneliness. The study involved schoolchildren of two age groups – teenagers and high school students. Within each of the groups, the results were analysed taking into account the gender of the respondents. The results obtained indicate a number of differences in the indicators of interpersonal interaction among schoolchildren with different gender and age characteristics.
