In some Asian communities the plant is used against a wide array of human disorders(Baquar,1989; -Duke et al,2002).It was reported that garden cress possesses anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anticoagulant(Al-Yahya,1994),diuretic(Patel et al,2009), antihypertensive (Maghrani et al.,2005),antirheumatic (Ahsan et al.1989),antidiarrheal,antispasmodic, laxative(Rehman et al.,2011) and hypoglycemic(Patole,1998) properties
