Abstract
Objective To summarize the clinical characteristics and treatment of gastric schwannoma. Methods The clinical data of 10 cases with gastric schwannoma were analyzed retrospectively. Results The main manifestations of gastric schwannoma were abdominal pains, abdominal mass, melena, upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage complicated with shock. Gastric schwannoma could be diagnosed by fibrogastroscope, barium meal X-ray and B ultrasound, etc. The final diagnosis should depend on pathology. The treatment mainly depended on surgery. Conclusion There is no special clinical manifestation in gastric schwannoma and the preoperative misdiagnosis rate is rather high.
