Abstract
Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) is a widely recognized aromatic herb which is popularly used in traditional medicine and culinary practices across the globe. This research study presents a comprehensive GC-MS analysis of lemongrass leaves, aimed to identify its bioactive compounds. The study explores the chemical composition of lemongrass leaves, focusing on potential applications in pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries. The analysis reveals various volatile and non-volatile compounds, shedding light on the therapeutic properties and potential commercial applications of this aromatic plant.
