Abstract
Summary This work is published to commemorate the anthor's eightieth birthday (1913–1993). Reminiscences of his pedagogical and research work carried out in the field of geodesy (1932–1992) in such Lithuanian higher schools as the University named after the Great Duke of Lithuania Vytautas, the Kaunas Polytechnic, the Vilnius Civil Engineering Institutes and the Lithuanian Academy of Science are presented.
