Abstract

Gamification is a learning approach using elements in games or video games with the aim of motivating students or students in the learning process and maximizing feelings of comfort and interest in the learning process, besides that this media can be used to capture things that interest them. students and inspire them to continue learning. The use of educational games can improve student learning outcomes. With the learning media in the form of interactive multimedia containing educational games, it can increase the activities and learning outcomes of students. In this study, a cafe service game that is currently popular will be raised. In this cafe service game, there is a movement of customers from the front door to the dining table. The process of regulating this customer movement will be carried out using collision detection techniques. Collision detection algorithm is a process of checking whether two or more spatial objects overlap or not, and collision detection is a collision detection technique to find out what objects are touching in a certain coordinate plane. The result of this research is a café game application that can be used to help children learn arithmetic operations.
