Galactic abundance gradients and implications for nucleosynthesis

We present model calculations of the radial abundance gradients along the Galactic disk for elements He, C, N, O, Die, Mg, Al, Si, S, Ar and Fe on the basis of the metallicity dependent yields for massive stars with and without mass loss. By comparing with available observations, we discuss the degree of sucessfulness of current available stellar yields of those elements.
