Abstract

Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) has been widely used in the treatment of multiple tumors. Temperature control plays a crucial role in radiofrequency ablation. In order to select the optical controller and realize real-time control of temperature, this paper presents a Fuzzy proportional Integral Derivative (Fuzzy-PID) control method is applied to the radiofrequency ablation temperature control system and made the simulation comparison with the conventional PID control and pure fuzzy control method. The Fuzzy-PID control system model is established and simulated by using the Simulink tool in MATLAB. According to the simulation results, the PID parameters can be adjusted to correct the system. The simulation results display that the adjustment time of the Fuzzy-PID thermostat of the RFA system is 1.1635s and the overshoot is 4.55%. Through the comparison between traditional PID controller and pure fuzzy controller, the simulation results testify the superiority of Fuzzy-PID controller, which provides a direction for further study of the thermostat.
