Abstract
In order to remove the nonminimum phase characteristics of missile overload output, the output-redefinition technique is applied to the missile's overload control system. Because the overload control system doesn't control missile's attitude angle and angle rate, they are treated as uncertainty of the system. In order to improve the robustness of the overload control system, a fuzzy neural network-based sliding mode control method is used to design it. The sliding mode control method is used to control the modified output with the fuzzy neural network as an approximator for the unknown uncertainty bound. A simulation example is illustrated to show the validity of the designed overload control system
