Abstract

The phenomenon of packet dropout is ubiquitous in the networked control system (NCS). In this paper, we address fuzzy model based fault detection for nonlinear networked control systems with packet dropout. To this end, a nonlinear system is rewritten into several linear systems multiplying their membership functions respectively, and a fuzzy model of the nonlinear networked control systems is derived. A reference model strategy is employed to achieve model matching problem in virtue of a fuzzy observer based residual generation and evaluation. In order to evaluate the performance of the designed approach, a corresponding threshold is given. Finally, an example is employed to verify that the proposed method performs well for nonlinear networked control systems with packet dropout.
