Abstract

Due to the rapid increase in computer and network technology, the need for securing digital information becomes an important target for technology producers; specially researchers. In this work HVS attributes – luminance sensitivity, contrast sensitivity and edge sensitivity are modeled using Fuzzy system to embed a binary watermark image in gray-scale host images. The performance of the presented system is measured with two metrics such as PSNR and SSIM. Four types of attacks are subjected on the watermarked/signed images to test the robustness of the proposed scheme. The presented system focuses on optimizing the trade-off between the imperceptibility and robustness. .
