Abstract

Currently, higher education institutions are facing new challenges, the purpose of which is to provide highly qualified specialists who have mastered not only professional knowledge, but also ready for intercultural communication in a multilingual world, independent problem solving, teaching subjects in two or more languages. For teacher training, we need a multilingual multicultural environment, design and implementation of new technologies. This article discusses the interpretation of the concepts of "competency " and "competence ", as well as the diversity of the proposed structures. The practical significance of the work is that the results obtained allow us to offer teachers of pedagogical universities scientifically -based recommendations for the formation of professional competencies of future teachers in the process of multilingual training.
