Abstract
Bradley, M.D., 1975. Future opportunities for open space. Landscape Plann., 2: 13–22. Open space planning and regulation has recently assumed an important role in environmental policy. Although defined geographically, open space is now appreciated for its functional uses and values. Traditional methods of acquisition and protection are being expanded by future-oriented planning, changing property law, and environmental impact assessment.
