Abstract

The main purpose of this communication was to expand the results of numerical analyses performed by Shakeel et al. on their experimental solubility of anti-cancer drug ibrutinib in ethanol+water mixtures at different temperatures, in terms of the solubility data modeling according to the Jouyban–Acree model and also the evaluation of the preferential solvation of this drug by both solvents, ethanol and water, in the saturated mixtures, based on the inverse Kirkwood–Buff integrals method.
