Abstract

AbstractAs introduced in Chap. 1, the parallel operation grid-connected power converter modules is an effective way for improving power capacity due to its particular advantages. The normal operation of each grid-connected power converter module is the basis for increasing capacity through parallel configuration. In general, grid-connected converters include single-phase converter, three-phase three-leg converter and three-phase four-leg converter. This chapter mainly explained the basics of three-level T-type grid-connected power converter module, including the operating principle, modelling and control schemes, which form the theoretical basis for parallel operation grid-connected converter modules to meet the high-power demand.
