Abstract

The tenth Space Flights Safety Symposium discussed the problems of Space flight safety, protective measures for space structures and the future strategies aimed at conducting safe and peaceful Space missions. The following topics were under discussion: protection of Space structures from space debris collisions and micrometeoroids; fire safety of Space vehicles; propulsion systems modeling and simulations; supercomputer predictive modeling for ensuring Space program safety; safety at launch and during landing or splash down.
