Research into the fundamental dimensions of personality and emotional intelligence in people with psoriasis is particularly current and important in conditions of high psychological morbidity among patients with skin diseases. Its role is particularly emphasized when we refer to the defense mechanisms of emotional conflict that can be activated through the perception, assimilation, understanding, and control of emotions.
