Abstract
Rationale: GLIM-criteria1 for malnutrition diagnosis and grading malnutrition. The system includes three phenotypic criteria (PC): non-volitional weight loss (WL), reduced muscle mass (MM) and low body mass index (BMI), and two etiologic criteria (EC): reduced food intake or assimilation, and inflammation or disease burden. The aim of this was to study the fulfilment of the PC and EC for the diagnosis of malnutrition in patients at risk according to NRS-2002 (NS-NRS2002).
