Abstract
Sonodynamic therapy has been in the limelight for cancer treatment due to its deep tissue penetration and clinical safety. Nevertheless, a low level of oxygen in tumor microenvironment diminishes the therapeutic effect of sonodynamic therapy by inducing tumor angiogenesis. In this article, we reported a combinatorial strategy by combining sonodynamic therapy with anti-angiogenesis, which can successfully achieve inhibition of angiogenesis and suppression of tumor growth.
