Abstract

The Front Cover illustrates the hydrogenation of CO2 into formate by Pd nanoparticles of different size supported on TiO2 using water as solvent. In their Research Article, M. D. Fernández-Martínez and C. Godard demonstrate that the smallest ones were not the most active. Two series of well-defined ligand-capped Pd nanoparticles were synthesized and tested in this reaction. The results show that PPh3 was the most appropriate ligand while TiO2 was the most efficient support. No correlation between size and activity was revealed in this study. More information can be found in the Research Article by M. D. Fernández-Martínez and C. Godard.
