Abstract

Issue 99.3 of Italica includes a collection of articles and book reviews that fosters discussion on diverse and significant areas within the field of Italian studies such as literature, media, linguistics, pedagogy, and culture. Among the reviews, we are hosting for the first time an overview and assessment of a digital project by an art historian. We are sure this will lead to the periodical addition of reviews of similar media within our illustrious journal. We are also proud to afford special focus to the memory of three important individuals of the Italian artistic panorama: Dino Buzzati (1906–1972), Pier Paolo Pasolini (1922–1975), and Ezio Gribaudo, who passed away July 18, 2022. We have included here an exclusive interview conducted by Victoria Surliuga a month prior to Gribaudo's passing.I want to extend my thanks to the laborious group of our associate editors, our book and media review editors, and our anonymous and diligent peer reviewers. Their professionalism, generosity, and unaltered passion for Italian studies and for our journal are to be praised.Buona lettura!
