Abstract
I have received some remarks from readers on the great diversity of opinion expressed in some the articles in Journal of System Safety. We encourage the freedom of expression (within reason) and look for a variety of authors for the Journal in the hope that this will stimulate discussion and progress in the field of system safety engineering. It should be noted, however, that the views expressed do not necessarily reflect the views of the International System Safety Society as is seen in the editorial disclaimer on page one.
