Abstract

ichael Murray delivered an earlier version of this paper to the Society for Management in Education in Ireland held at Trinity College Dublin in April 1992. He argues that in a world in which the only constant is change schools must strive to become learning organisations. He reports on a project which used a curriculum development approach to enable schools to gain a mastery of the disciplines involved in becoming learning organisations and achieving whole school improvement.
