Abstract

Two years ago, Belgian system operator ELIA started with the development of an intelligent quality management system (the Q-master project). This paper describes the first phase of the project, which consisted of developing a big database with power quality data from different types of monitoring devices: not just quality monitoring devices, but also fault recorders and digital revenue meters. Applications were developed to process all power quality data to indices that characterise the system and the customer’s level of power quality.
