Abstract
A novel method for frequency-resolved polarimetry of broad-band optical signals is presented, in both theory and experiment. The measurement method is based on dynamic filtering of the signal by a nearly balanced interferometer with controlled differential delay and differential phase. The technique can be instrumental in generating a feedback signal for polarization-mode dispersion mitigation schemes, characterizing optical networks and more.
