Abstract

Frequencyf-dependent characteristics have been systematically investigated in the ferroelectric heterostructure comprising two diverse ferroelectric films utilizing the Landau theory appended to Landau-Khalatnikov dynamic equation (LKDE). Two surface transition layers (STLs) in each film are assumed to be the same and a ferroelectric coupling between two component films is considered. The fdependence of hysteresis loop, coercive field, switching current, dielectric susceptibility and pyroelectric coefficient is systemically studied. We found that the dynamic properties of ferroelectric heterostructures are strongly frequency-dependent, and exhibit some abnormal behavior with the variation of frequency. The results are in good accordance with those observed in experiments.
