Abstract

The motive of this numerical analysis is to explore the natural convective thermal energy transfer in an inclined square porous chamber. The left side and right side vertical walls of the enclosure are maintained with sinusoidal heating. The lower and upper walls are kept with adiabatic temperature. The finite volume approach is implemented to get the solutions of the principal equations. Extended Darcy model of Forchheimer-Brinkman is applied to model the porous (permeable) medium. The numerical outcomes are examined for numerous values of phase deviation, the amplitude ratio, as well as Darcy numbers. The increase in Grashof number and Da enhances the mean Nu(Nusselt number). The enhanced heat transfer is noticed for the case of heating on both sidewalls sinusoidally than the heating of one wall sinusoidally.
