Abstract

We present a brief reflection on the figure of Frederic Ozanam (1813-1853) and his intervention in defense of Christianity and the Catholic Church in the academic debate and intellectual scene. Ozanam fought for the recognition of the heritage of Greek and Roman culture that Christianity communicated to Western society.
