Abstract

Frank Morrell was virtually unparalleled in successfully combining the three requisites of academic neurology. His laboratory investigations were fundamental to understanding the physiology and the treatment of epilepsy. He was a gifted lecturer and teacher, inspiring devotion in his students, residents, and fellows. Above all, he was revered by his patients for his compassionate care. Figure 1 Figure 1.
