Abstract
Surgical site infection (SSI) contributes to a high burden of vascular morbidity, particularly in lower limb revascularizations. While frailty has been associated with higher mortality and readmission rates after surgery, less is known about frailty’s relationship with SSI. Thus, we sought to explore the association of frailty with SSI after infrainguinal bypass.
